CSR at Baramati Agro Limited (BAL) is not just a legal obligation or charity — it is a core strategic commitment, embedded in our business operations and inspired by the vision of Padmashree Late Dr. Appasaheb Pawar.
Our mission is to uplift farming communities, foster inclusive growth, and enrich value chains — especially for disadvantaged sections in rural India — while “Linking the Basics” between farmers, consumers, and stakeholders.
Our CSR Policy, updated as of 2026, aligns with Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 and Schedule VII. The CSR Committee, reconstituted on 24th March 2026, formulates policy, recommends expenditures, prepares annual action plans, and ensures transparent implementation.

BAL’s CSR is fundamental to its operations, ensuring growth remains inclusive. By linking farmers to consumers and investing in education, environment, and health, BAL creates a virtuous cycle of empowerment.
The Agricultural Development Trust’s decades-long work in water conservation, climate-smart agriculture, and women’s education amplifies BAL’s impact far beyond statutory requirements.
